We've had another MASSIVE website update and I think it's due an announcement. We wanted to fine tune a lot of things and make things to make place for a big change we're having, and in preparation for the original webnovel content we'll have post the competition in jan :) The big thing though, is that WeTried is now available in Vietnamese! I told you last month that we wanted to expand into other languages, and this is the first one. Currently 5 novels are available, but more will be added soon. You can swap languages using the language switcher, and if a novel is available in both, you can jump to the same chapter in the other language while reading. Account and store pages are still English-only for now, so please bear with us on that. Full discloser though, we are collaborating with translation agencies and freelancers for this, so the translators responsible are not the wetried english translators you're used to.Alongside this, the rest of the site has had quite the makeover:New look: The homepage, catalog, series pages and collections have all been redesigned, and they finally look like they belong to the same website. Collection descriptions are back as well.Rankings: The homepage now has Top new (series that started in the last 14 days), Top ongoing (daily, weekly and all-time) and Top completed (weekly, monthly and all-time). Latest updates also goes through every series now instead of giving up after 3 pages.Reader: There's a new chapter list panel and a smaller settings panel. The paywall is now one simple sheet with the price, your balance and the unlock buttons.Logging in: You can now log in with your username or your email. We also fixed a bug where one person's failed logins could lock everyone else out, so if you kept getting locked out for no reason, that was probably it.Two-factor login: You can turn this on under Settings → Security. You'll get 10 recovery codes, so keep those somewhere safe. If you signed up with Discord or Google, use "Forgot password?" to set a password first. Now, a lot of you had some very fair feedback on all this earlier this morning. I said last month that not many groups implement feedback to the degree we do, so here's us proving it: The orange reading progress bar is gone.Next, previous and the chapter list now live in a bar at the bottom of the screen, on phones too, so there's no more scrolling to the end of a chapter or stretching your thumb to the top.Double tap is back. The bar hides as you read, and a double tap or a scroll up brings it back. The text on series pages is bigger.Dates are fixed. A chapter now shows when it actually turned free, and chapters on the cards are back in the right order. The chapter list no longer pulls up your phone keyboard.Long reviews on mobile no longer hide what you're typing behind the keyboard.Autocorrect in comments no longer adds letters onto the end of your word. If something's still acting up, keep telling us. It clearly works. Our dev team (@Heaning , @Restodecoca and @silver ) has once again been pulling their weight to make all this happen despite their busy schedules and other jobs, so please shower them with some praise!AND THERE'S LESS THAN TWO MONTHS FOR WEBNOVEL CONTEST START GRINDING FOLKS
