◈ I Made a Tier List the Transcendents Are Obsessed With ◈
Chapter 42: Just Like the Seventh Dimension
──────
Seventh Dimension Transcendents had all been eagerly awaiting Oz's tier list.
And they hoped the war legends they had built would rank near the top.
Their constant goal was to have it recognized that they belonged to a superior realm and had been acknowledged as strong since ancient times.
But things started to take a strange turn.
-What? Drevans are number one...?
-What even is this? It's not even written in the Myriad Realms Chronicle.
-It's not even a Grand Narrative to begin with, fuck! I can't accept this!!!!!
ㄴWhat are you gonna do if you can't? lol.
ㄴBut honestly, how did they see the Watcher's records? I don't get this one either.
-Eleventh) What in the world......
ㄴA Drevan really showed up lol.
ㄴWere they watching too?;;
The contents of the ranking were rather bewildering.
The other rankings were one thing, but first place was filled with things no one had expected.
Drevans had always been called the weakest species in every Dimension.
There were far too few Drevans who had transcended. Aside from the three who had transcended through the path of magic and the Immortal-tradition practitioners called outliers, none had transcended through their realms.
They had transcended through the Karma of their souls, accumulated across repeated reincarnations.
Even after transcending, they could not exercise even low-level divine authority. They were merely artisans who quietly carried on their crafts.
Too weak to protect themselves.
Naturally skilled with their hands and talented in all manner of miscellaneous arts.
Those were conditions all too suitable for becoming prey for other species, so even now, when their treatment had improved somewhat, Drevans still lived under a degree of contempt.
-These Seventh-Dimension lunatics, is this actually real?
ㄴThat's pretty bad;; Our Dimension wasn't this bad.
ㄴThat whole Dimension is full of fucking bastards, no matter how you look at it. Every last one of them is an accomplice.
This tendency had been especially savage in the Seventh Dimension, where species supremacy was rampant.
As that fact began spreading through the Transcendent Gallery, the entire situation changed.
-So Seventh Dimension-like, yeah......
ㄴYou're laying it on really thick.
ㄴSeriously, even so, this is a bit much lol;;;
-I support and endorse a campaign to ban Seventh-Dimension natives from commenting.
-Now that I think about it, the fact they were fighting over which war legends ranked higher is legendary in itself.
ㄴFor real lol. "We slaughtered more people than you!!!!!!"
ㄴHonestly, I'm not exactly qualified to criticize killing either, but these bastards are really something lol.
Criticism began pouring down on the Seventh-Dimension species supremacists who had been tearing up the Gallery.
......Of course, if one looked closely, Drevans were still somewhat looked down on in other Dimensions as well.
But public opinion held that the Seventh Dimension had crossed a line.
Naturally, their excuse was roughly, "It's not just Drevans."
They claimed they treated every species except themselves and their allied species like animals, equally. That only ignited public opinion again.
-It's like saying, "I didn't just break that one's leg, I twisted this one's ankle too," lol. These fucking lunatics lol.
ㄴTheir way of thinking really is different......
ㄴI don't want to use the same Gallery as them...... Boo......
-PassingImmortal) The Punishers have made a grave mistake. It would have been right to reset the Seventh Dimension, not the Second......
ㄴFacts, Immortal Emperor lol.
-Faceless King) I do not even treat slaves that way.
ㄴAs expected, the Great Sovereign is great for slave welfare lol.
Even the more controversial Transcendents from other Dimensions recoiled in horror and continued distancing themselves.
Once merely hearing the name Seventh Dimension made people shudder and wave it away, the various Seventh-Dimension Transcendents tried somehow to turn public opinion elsewhere.
After all, the ranking did not contain only first place.
TOP 4 [ The Grand March ] Skyfall War
The event where Genosis first brought down the Seventh Dimension Council and brainwashed the leaders of each species, causing division.
Three giant-galaxy-scale space cities were destroyed, and countless factions suffered damage as a result.
It was the war in which numerous species first clearly recognized Genosis, and the event that accumulated the greatest amount of species-wide evil karma relative to its duration.
It ranks fourth because it later led to some mental-entity species being completely absorbed into Genosis.
TOP 3 [ The Day the Sky Fell ] Hoecheon War
A war in which the Biik, who had ruled the entirety of the Seventh Dimension, fell to the schemes of the Human allied forces and a surprise attack by gods of the highest rank.
Ninety percent of a species that had reigned as the victor for hundreds of millions of years was effectively exterminated in this war, so it cannot be placed any lower in the Great War Narrative rankings.
The fable fragments left behind afterward became nourishment for the Humans and contributed to their establishment of several great empires in the Seventh Dimension.
TOP 2 [ Five Days That Brought Down the False Gods ] False Constellation War
A war in which an alliance of eleven species, including Humans, Lizardmen, and Arkanon, fought against the higher beings known as the Constellation species.
It lasted only five days, but considering the number of deaths and lost ancient-civilization planets, it could be considered one of the worst in history.
The remains of the false absolute gods shot down at the time still remain throughout the Seventh Dimension.
Many weapons fashioned from them into things like spirit treasures still remain as well.
[Those electromagnetic-wave fuckers are showing off again lol. Yeah, the Humans have the third-ranked legend.]
[Honestly, don't the Lizardmen have the biggest share of the False Constellation War's legend?]
[If we're talking about a single species' greatest war legend, Genosis basically won......]
The legends in the remaining rankings.
The explanations of wars that had never been revealed in full were quite interesting as well.
So everyone tried hard to steer attention in that direction by making posts, but-
Upvotes 134 Downvotes 1591
Upvotes 177 Downvotes 2337
Upvotes 52 Downvotes 1488
-Lol, the upvote-downvote ratio exposed your manipulation.
-Keep burning through your karma on downvotes, yeah.
-Serves you right lol.
Their efforts failed as public opinion was completely crushed.
Every Transcendent outside the Seventh Dimension had become a hardcore Drevan stan.
-Don't ever mess with Drevans again. This is a warning.
-I think the Seventh Dimension needs to establish independent Drevan planets with higher civilization ratings, even now......
-Every species in the Seventh Dimension should install Drevan shelters and Drevan feeding stations.
ㄴHey, you bastard, are they stray cats? lol.
ㄴAh, that's not right;;
Of course, this did not bring any tangible benefit to the Drevans of the Seventh Dimension.
Their lives did not change much either.
But stories move on.
Beyond the Transcendents alone.
To every person who had taken part in that small struggle and resistance.

Looking over every post that came up, Jin smiled faintly.
It seemed he had intended to prompt this sort of reaction to some extent this time as well.
Of course, he always kept to the principle of not allowing any personal motive beyond the choice of topic.
If I violated that, my credibility itself would be called into question.
Therefore, it was true that Drevans possessed the greatest Narrative by the standards of legends.
However, no one could gain any sort of benefit from it.
No one could claim ownership over that massive legend created from countless small fragments.
It had merely been observed by the Watcher. There was no trace to be found of any physical form that possessed power.
Therefore, the story spreading through the Gallery could not be of great help to Drevans.
There probably would not be any great change for them in the future, either......
"Still, that's enough."
Having seen the journey of a species observed by the Watcher, the one who had participated in the original story's finale had surely said that.
So Jin had no intention of doing anything more.
Giving them just a little support would be enough.
Drevans were among the few beings who could be trusted at every moment until the final chapter.
They would not be much help in an actual great battle, but so long as there was a righteous cause and justification, they could be won over as allies more dependable than anyone.
So Jin hoped this would earn them somewhat better treatment......
"What is it?"
"Oh, something happened. Anyway, has that guy come to his senses?"
At Jin's question, Wendy shrugged. Her gesture made it seem as though she had little interest.
"I don't know. Our Magic Tower infirmary isn't exactly a bad place. He'll be fine on his own."
"Our?"
"I've been acting as Tower Master alone for years. Can't I call it ours?"
"No, that's not what I meant. It's just surprising."
At her rather spirited reaction, Jin scratched the back of his head and stepped back.
Perhaps because of work stress, she had definitely grown a bit more aggressive......
"Whether it's Ha-myeong or Myeong-ha, go check on his condition yourself...... And if you're not going to help with this, why don't you go take a walk somewhere."
"......"
Wendy had clearly issued an order for him to leave.
Seeing the exhaustion faintly visible on her face, an image briefly crossed his mind. Someone grown old, their hair turned gray, clutching at documents.
Of course, that would never actually happen.
But as she groaned with a pained expression, twisting her face this way and that as if her head hurt, it overlapped with that image and made him laugh a little.
"Ugh."
I should just quit this.
Jin watched her shout as she flipped through folders for a while, then patted her back.
"Let's go."
"......Pardon?"
"You told me to go for a walk. Let's go together."
"No, I have to do this-"
"I said I have to do iiit-"
Wendy's continued protest cut off before she could finish.
Already caught in Jin's hand and dragged along, Wendy looked around at the scenery, which had suddenly changed into a bustling district of Hyeondeok City, and sighed.
"No...... This is really urgent."
"Don't you know that if you stay glued to it all day, your efficiency drops instead? Let's take a break."
"......"
What's with him today?
Though she pouted, Wendy followed Jin around the streets as if she could not help it.
And some time later.
"Mmm, mmmmm! This is sooo yummy."
"Wow. It's so pretty. When did they put a fountain in this plaza? Look! Look over there!"
"......Are you enjoying yourself that much?"
She enjoyed that break more enthusiastically than anyone.
