◈ Martial Arts Survival Guide ◈

Chapter 1: Do You Know Martial Arts?

──────

“Do you know martial arts?”

I don't.

All my life, I'd thought things like that had nothing to do with me. I sometimes played soccer or basketball during lunch at school, but I'd never trained in a combat sport. Like all the other boys my age, I did watch combat sports tournaments now and then, but really, I only watched because my friends did. I'd never found them particularly entertaining myself.

So I wasn't interested, and I'd never wanted to know more. Naturally, I'd never wanted to learn, either.

I'd thought that wasn't going to change.
